Outside, we clear webs by hand with an extension duster: eaves, gutters,
window frames, deck rails, the dock and the boathouse. Then we treat the spots spiders
anchor to and hide in, so new webs take longer to come back.
Inside, we treat the places house spiders actually live: the garage edges, the crawl space,
the basement corners and the gaps around doors. We do not spray across your living space,
and we tell you what goes where before we start.
Spider season peaks from August through October, and most lakefront homes do best on a
regular exterior program that covers it. Someone is out within 48 hours, and Lake Stevens
is the shortest drive we make. More on the method on our spider exterminator service page.
On the question everyone asks: the Burke Museum's spider myths page
is a good read. House spiders are not a health risk, and the ones in the house did not
come in from the yard for winter. Brian holds WSDA applicator license #112338.
